Bumble (BMBL, $13.44) will report its third-quarter earnings after Tuesday’s close. Analysts, on average, expect the online dating company to report earnings of 7 cents per share, down 50% year-over-year (YoY), on revenue of $277.1 million (+16.7% YoY).

BofA Securities analyst Curtis Nagle recently initiated coverage on the tech stock with a Neutral rating – the equivalent of a Hold – and a $17 price target. Bumble “has a strong track record for innovation and brand building in the category,” Nagle wrote in a note to clients. The analyst says that while he’s upbeat about the company’s long-term prospects, current trends such as a slowdown in user growth have him cautious in the near term.

The majority of analysts are bullish on BMBL. Of the 21 analysts following the stock surveyed by S&P Global Market Intelligence, 10 say it’s a Strong Buy, four have it at Buy and seven call it a Hold. This works out to a consensus Buy recommendation.

Arm Holdings (ARM, $52.82) will disclose its fiscal second-quarter earnings after Wednesday’s close – marking the first such event for the chipmaker as a publicly traded company. ARM’s mid-September initial public offering (IPO) was the most-anticipated of the year, though shares have fizzled since their red-hot start.

Still, most analysts expect the semiconductor stock to bounce. According to S&P Global Market Intelligence, analysts’ price targets range from a high of $85 to a low of $34, while the average target price of $61.10 represents implied upside of 15.7% over the next 12 months or so.

Speaking for the bulls is Deutsche Bank analyst Ross Seymore, who initiated coverage on ARM in early October with a Buy rating. The company’s strategic shifts to become a more royalty-centric, end market-focused and system-solution-based entity “should accelerate the company’s revenue growth and further expand the valuation premium at which the company historically traded, based on the uniqueness and ubiquity of its technology ecosystem as well as the highly profitable and predictable nature of its business model,” Seymour wrote in a note to clients.

As for the company’s upcoming earnings report, analysts are anticipating earnings of 26 cents per share on revenue of $747.3 million. By comparison, Arm had revenue of $675 million in its fiscal first quarter.

Earnings spotlight: Walt Disney

Walt Disney’s (DIS, $83.29) share price struggled over the July through September period, shedding more than 14%. This is more of the same for Disney stock, which has generated a dismal return for investors over the long term.

Off the price charts, analysts are anticipating solid bottom-line growth for Disney over the three-month period. The entertainment and media giant is slated to report its fiscal fourth-quarter results after Wednesday’s close, and estimates are for earnings of 68 cents per share (+126.7% YoY). Revenue, on the other hand, is expected to land at $20.1 billion (-0.1% YoY).

Following its fiscal third-quarter results in August, which showed a 7.4% quarter-over-quarter decline in Disney+ subscribers and a $2.65 billion impairment charge related in part to pulling content off its streaming platforms, all eyes will once again be on the company’s streaming business, says Sophie Lund-Yates, lead equity analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown. “Operating losses have been in the spotlight for this area of the business, and investors would like to see strong momentum here – especially given CEO Bob Iger was brought out of retirement to stem the profit leaks,” the analyst says.

Lund-Yates adds that Disney’s theme-park performance will also be in focus. “There’s optimism that ticket and merchandise sales have continued climbing, but the outlook statement will be important to understand if economic uncertainties are having any impact on next quarter’s expectations,” she notes. Disney recently raised prices on several of its theme park ticketing options.
