She was previously a writer and editor at Money, where she wrote a weekly newsletter that made investing news fun and engaging. In addition to editing investing stories, she wrote about a wide range of money-related topics, ranging from a digital cover story on how Gen Z is rewriting the rules of personal finance to news-driven service journalism on saving for retirement, avoiding scams and more. She also covered the boom of cryptocurrency and meme stocks.
Prior to working at Money, Mallika wrote about municipal finance at Bloomberg News and personal finance, entertainment and business at CNBC. She is currently a freelance writer.
