The Cabarrus Senior Center Photo Club is alive and clicking away. If you like taking photos, come join the members on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Cabarrus Senior Center, 331 Corban Ave. SE, Concord, and share your photographic creativity. New Gilead Reformed Church will have a BBQ Chicken Dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. until sold out..Dine in or carryout. The church is located at 2400 Old Salisbury-Concord Road, Concord. A plate includes: half BBQ Chicken, beans, slaw, roll, chips, drink, and dessert for $11. A whole chicken is $9 and a quart of slaw is $5.

Calvary Lutheran Church will host a Trunk or Treat & Cookout. Children may trick-or-treat from 4-5 p.m. Afterward enjoy a hot dog supper and outdoor games until 6 p.m. It is a free event.
